The sharing on Robotics AI Application in Logistics was conducted by Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association after three consecutive seminars on 1. 5 February: AI application in Logistics, 2. 4 June: Cloud computing 3. 3 September: Smart logistics – Process and Technology changes in pharmaceutical Supply Chain.

Lawrence Li, Director of Brand Express Service, is invited to share on a speech on “Logistics needs for Cross Border E-Commerce” under the theme of how the local SME logistics practitioners can capitalize on China’s Cross Border E-Commerce Opportunities organized by The Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CILTHK).

Paul Li is appointed by HK Sea Transport and Logistics Association to be the Chairman of Supply Chain Management Strategies Think Tank (SCMSTT). The mission is to inspire SMEs to develop competitive advantages through branding, innovation, purchasing, manufacturing, product and distribution strategies and service delivery to provide superior value to customers.

Our president, Paul Li, is appointed to be the project manager of the One Belt One Road (OBOR) forum organized by Shipper Research Centre of the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, Transport Logistics Training Board, Vocational Training Council.

One Belt One Road (OBOR) is an initiative that focus on improving and creating new trading routes and business opportunities with China, passing through over sixty countries. The forum will be held on 26 November 2016 at Lecture Theatre V322, Innovation Tower, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Kowloon. Details are found at this document.

The Closing Ceremony and Free Seminar on Cross Border Ecommerce for HKSTLA BUD project (funded by Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR Government) will be held at Hong Kong Productivity Council on 28 June 2016. Transland President, Paul Li, was appointed to be the project coordinator. Transland received the Cross Border Ecommerce Integrated Services Qualification in Guangzhou offering services to Cross Border Ecommerce traders, payment entities, commodities registration, customs and CIQ declaration.

The online platform will be completed by the end of January 2016. We are inviting partners and professionals to explore the opportunities. The introduction will be held at 27 January 2016 in Hong Kong. Details are found at this document.

Our president, Paul Li, is appointed to be the project coordinator for “BUD” project by Hong Kong Sea Transport and Association. The “BUD” project is funded by Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR government. The objective is exploring opportunities for Cross Border Ecommerce Policies (Import into China). Deliverables include a report, 5 seminars and visits to Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Chongqing – 4 pilot cross border Ecommerce cities.

Our president, Paul Li, is appointed to be the project coordinator for “100 common pitfalls and preventive measures for logistics industries” knowledge sharing seminar organized by the Hong Kong Sea Transport and Logistics Association, The Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, and the Shipping Research Center of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The identified pitfalls and proposed measures are beneficial to reduce risks and enhance service level in the logistics operations.
